I have a 4 college degrees from Penn Foster in Child Care. I'm currently in school specializing in christian counseling for kids at Liberty University Online. I have 20+ years experience working with children including newborns to 12 years old. I've previously worked in 2 day cares working with infants, toddlers, and pre-k. I've also taught Junior Church at 2 different churches. I currently still help with junior church in my current church along with kid activies such as VBS. I have worked in nurserys so I do have experience with infants. I am loyal and honest. I'm very dedicated and I love kids. I'm one that will come down to your childs level and try to understand their wants and needs. When it comes to infants, I believe in holding a baby while feeding them. I'm not one of those that prop the baby up and feed them that Read more way. I believe that feeding time is a time for the baby to feel close to someone and comforted. I work out of the families home, I feel this is better for not only the parents, but the child as well to be in their own environment.

Heather has been with us for several months now and she has been a wonderful addition to our family! We presented her with a unique challenge and she came in prepared and ready to take care of our little girls and has exceeded our expectations! She has been very flexible with our schedule which has helped tremendously and will do what she can to make sure our needs are met. She does crafts and activities with our kids which they absolutely love and she is very upfront about any additional costs associated with it. She always asks if the amount is ok before proceeding which is appreciated and I have always felt that the cost for the crafts was reasonable. Our girls love her and are always sad to see her leave for the day. When the girls go down for their nap she always helps with some tasks around the house like dishes and organizing the pantry. She has even went and grabbed groceries for us on several occasions which has a been a huge blessing at times because we are constantly busy! We are so grateful for her!

Heather helped out a few times for me with watching our 4-month old and 2-year old while I did things around the house and she was fantastic! She asked great questions, played and soothed the kids well, and seemed to be able to balance a toddler and baby which is no easy task! I would highly recommend Heather to any family:)

Nickel and dimes for crafts and anything extra, argumentative, and dishonest. Tried to find replacement for her as soon as we hired her and realized her flaws. Very unhappy with her care.

Heather is very reliable, punctual and flexible with our family needs. She is also very good in keeping us up to date as to whatever activities they are doing. Her transparency when it comes to things that she can and cannot accommodate is also a good thing, for us to plan ahead. Our son warmed up to her right away which doesn’t happen often especially in first meeting. We are grateful for having her as our sitter .
