Hello Families my name is Alicia, I was born and raised in Chicago, IL, and find myself always returning. I enjoy the city food, community, the night life, and the abundance of all kinds of stores in the surrounding area. But I also savour mountain bike riding, trail walks in the suburbs where I live now, and the peace and quiet. I consider myself very outdoorsy, and think it's important to take advantage of the outdoors when possible I am also a creative person, so art, poetry, crafts, DIY projects have been a great outlet free expression for me. I enjoy sharing my love of the outdoors and creativity/art with kids. I have over 5 years of experience including babysitting, pre-school teaching and most recently nannying for kids ranging from 3 mos- 7 yrs old. My infants experience starts at 3 month old. I can assist in teaching children how Read more to spell, ABC’s, colors, motor, sensory, and cognitive skills, I teach Spanish, as well assist in Yoga and music class, I prepare snacks and lunches, and I also potty train. I am a certified food handler/server, mandated reporter, certified in (SIDS/SUID/AAP Safe sleep), certified in (SBS/ Traumatic Brain Injury) , and I am a certified pediatric CPR, AED, and first aid. I think it's important to provide children with a fun, fulfilling and enriched environment. I am an enthusiastic and responsible person and look forward to meeting you and your kids!
