I’m a college graduate with a degree in Computer Science, and I currently work full-time at USAA. I’m looking for a part-time babysitting position because I have a true passion for helping and working with children. I have over 4 years of experience as a nanny and babysitter. I have extensive experience with children of all ages—especially babies and toddlers. I’m confident with meal prep, diaper changes, and sleep routines, and I always prioritize creating a safe, nurturing, and fun environment. I’m reliable, patient, and love building connections with kids of all personalities. I also have my own transportation and am available for weeknight or weekend babysitting opportunities. Ariel has just started as a sitter for us, but she has quickly learned the evening routine over two school nights. We hired her as a parent helper on the nights when mom needs to travel for work, and she has been helping to get our older daughter through dinner, homework, shower, and bedtime, then with cleanup, all while dad wrangles our younger daughter. We were pleased to learn that Ariel has experience as a nanny for 3 girls because we may need nanny services later this year! In general, we’ve had mixed experience with sitters on Sitter City, which we’ve been using for about a year and a half. We find that of about 15 applicants, we may be interested in 6, of whom 3 actually respond and 1-2 show up for interviews. Ariel was great with communicating all through the interview process and has been very responsive to texts, and it’s sitters like her that make using SitterCity worthwhile.
