Hi! My name is Selena, and I’m a responsible, energetic, and patient caregiver with over five years of experience working with children of all ages. I truly love working with kids and creating a safe, supportive, and fun environment where they can learn and grow. For the past two summers, I worked full-time at a day camp where I was in charge of a group of first graders, planning activities and supervising them throughout the day. I’ve also spent several summers as a camp counselor working with children ages 2–4, which helped me develop strong skills in patience, communication, and creative play. In addition, I spent a summer working with children on the autism spectrum, which further strengthened my ability to be attentive, understanding, and adaptable to each child’s needs. During the school year, I work at a Montessori after-school program where I am the lead counselor for first grade. I am CPR and First Aid certified, have a driver’s license and my own car, and completed a driver’s education course, so I’m comfortable helping with transportation if needed. I pride myself on being reliable, patient, and enthusiastic, and I love building meaningful connections with the children I care for. I’m excited about the opportunity to support families in NYC and help create a fun, safe, and nurturing environment for their kids.
