Hi! My name is Leanna and I am a freshman at the University of Florida studying psychology. I have always loved working with kids and have experience working with children in a variety of settings. I’ve worked as a dance instructor for kids ages 3-7 for the past 3 years, volunteered as a beach camp counselor for children ages 2-10, and served as an assistant teacher at Japanese language school for 2 years. I currently volunteer at BabyGator, an early childhood collaboratory, where I care for young children and support classroom activities. I truly enjoy working with kids and always ensure a fun, safe, welcoming environment. I’m passionate about child development and plan to become a children’s therapist in the future.
