When I was 14, I was living back in St Louis at the time and I lived with my dad and my cousin had a daycare in a home that she bought . It was legit and liscend and I was an employee for her for about a year . I moved back to Memphis and helped my mother with my youngest brother . Im not so proud but I did end up having my first child at 17 . He is now a 3 year old boy and very smart, considerate and charming . With motherhood comes experience and trials and tribulations but the best part of it is to see the final result of what you've created. Its like working so hard on a special outfit or nice painting and finally getting to see the product . Great feeling it's precious . I also have a 5 month Read more old niece who I care for when needed and she is just a little bundle of joy . I've cared for her literally since she was born so I def have experience with newborns as well ! My experience with special needs children… I do not have any experience with special needs children. I do see a lot of things about them that I take in an understand. I am such a fast learner so I can understand how they are different and alike with people without disabilities. I am definitely open to learning to be more knowledged to be able to watch over and care for special needs children. Activities I enjoy doing with children… I love doing outside nature activities because I really enjoy nature for myself for 1 and I think it's just a great learning opportunity to not only appreciate the beautiful planet we have but to know know the world works and what treasures it has in-store for them . I also love having kids work as teams to build social skills and more skills by doing activities like playing store and playing school because it really builds those social skills and to be able to be patient and understand and also responsible as using things like paper money and such . I just really have a vast imagination on how to entertain kids as well as enrich them all at the same time . The most important part about being a nanny… To see the parents and children happy and satisfied . I want the parents to feel as if I love their children like mine and to feel they are safe and accounted for at all times. To trust that I will not harm their children in any way and have the best intentions for all children . I want the children to feel they have a bond with me and can tell me anything and to feel safe and comfortable with me and to know that I am here to help.
