Hello, my name is Jahmya or Mya whichevers easier :) I am 18 years old and have a passion for teaching and guiding the next generation. I have a year of college under my belt, but unfortunately had to drop out due to expenses. I love being a sitter to both humans and animals because I know how stressful life can be. Especially as an ex-college student, seeing her mom work extra hard to provide for me, my sister, and our dog. I've been helping her out and family and friends for years with babysitting siblings and friends' kids. Being able to provide even a bit of stress relief is the reason I do what I do. I have all childcare learnaces, including FBI prints, background check, Child abuse, and mandatory reporter. I have training in CPR, First aid and Kulture City training. Kulture City is a certification I'm very Read more proud of because it allows me to work with and around kids with special needs. To be fully transparent, I have never personally babysat a child with special needs above lower spectrum autism. Though I am told by many that I've worked with before that they love the balance I have of getting along with the children, but maintaining the authority figure. Parents have also told me that they appreciate some of the extra things I do around the home just to make their lives easier and keep their kids occupied. As for animals i have owned and worked with many pets in my lifetime. just to name a few Dogs, cats, fish, guinea pigs, hamsters, ferrets, and geckos. I have also done extensive research on bunnies, hoping to own one myself one day. I always follow whatever instructions owners leave for me with their animals because you know your animal best. I am hoping that I match your qualifications and that you choose me to be the best babysitter ever. :)
