Hi! My name is Courtney (Woodstock, GA). I graduated from Georgia State University in December 2022 with my Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice. I am currently working towards obtaining my Master of Social Work degree at Kennesaw State University. I have been working in child care since 2015. I have worked in multiple child care positions: babysitting, summer camp teacher at a private preschool, assistant teacher at Primrose Schools, and nannying. I have experience with children ages 2 months-16 years. I have experience in child welfare working as a DFCS Foster Care Case Manager and as a social work contractor with Chestatee Counseling Center. My contracting position involves providing behavior aide services to foster children, supervising foster children and their families during visitation, and transporting foster children. I am CPR and first aid certified for all ages. I am also trained in car seat safety and installation. I Read more drive a 2025 Kia Telluride and have multiple types of car seats if transportation is needed. While transporting children, I charge $0.65 per mile. My main goal in child care is to focus on the safety and well being of children in my care while also facilitating their creativity and independence.
