Hello families! My name is Ashlee Thomas. I am from sunny San Diego, California. I moved to Boston in 2015 to further my education. I graduated from Boston University with my undergrad in Psychology and Human Development. I went back for one more year and obtained my masters in Child Life and Family Centered Care. I have internship experience in Early Intervention and also interned at Boston Children’s Hospital. I am first aid certified as well as CPR certified. I have experience writing curriculum for infant, toddler, preschool, and school age. I worked for Bright Horizons for 6 years with all age groups. I currently work full time for Boston Public Schools in a kindergarten inclusion classroom. I have nanny experience as well as babysitting experience for many different ages. I find that being a nanny/babysitter allows me to create a bond and friendship with children. I learn from children Read more and they learn from me as well. Children are our future and it’s important to teach and lead them to become successful.
