I love being a sitter because I get a chance to connect with young children/adults and influence them the way others have influenced me. I have been paid for childcare for about 5 years, gaining experience with all ages of children from as young as 5 months old to as old as 14. Additionally, I have experience in sports coaching both as an alpine ski racing coach at Gore Mountain's NYSEF program and through the youth OSAA Field Hockey Program, where I served as the head 5th-6th coach my junior and senior years of high school. I also have some experience with children with special needs. I grew up showing cows at my local county fair, so I am comfortable dealing with any pets; no animal is too big! I intend to acquire a master's in education and be a high school-level biology or English teacher.
