Hi! My name is Yahannie, but I go by Curly. I’m a soon to be 27 years old and I am currently enrolled at Center for allied Health Education(BK) for Diagnostic Medical Sonography for the OB/GYN. I have been working with children since the age of 15. I truly love working with children and building meaningful connections with the families I support. I have experience creating fun, engaging extracurricular activities and developing age-appropriate lesson plans that encourage learning through play. Whether it’s arts and crafts, creative games, homework help, or outdoor activities, I strive to make each day both structured and enjoyable. In addition to my childcare background, I have experience working in as a camp counselor, an after school counselor and Youth Peer Advocate at the Jewish board which focuses on mental health. These roles has helped strengthened my patience, responsibility, and compassion when caring for others.
