From the age of 12, I have worked in numerous childcare positions with varying age groups. I have experience with babysitting, teaching/managing a classroom of 2-year-olds at my church, one-on-one behavior therapy at an autism center, assisting in school classrooms, and more. Babysitting has given me experience in handling multiple children for extended periods of time at different ages and needs. My church classroom has helped teach me to manage time to allow for the different activities while handling conflicts and little hearts that are sad to be away from parents. The autism center taught me techniques for working through behaviors, while learning to notice a deeper cause for the acting out like not being able to express themselves or just needing help. I also nannied for a family with a 3 year-old girl. I helped to potty train her and teach her good ways to communicate.
