Hi!! I have been a nanny for about six years now to four different families. I absolutely love getting to experience each child's personality that I've come in contact with. My freshman year of college, I worked as an after school care teacher for PRE-K thru 8th as well as a cheer instructor to preschool-first graders! In high school, I was apart of "Beach Buddies" which is a club for special needs children to be paired with a high schooler from my school. While active in that club I mentored my now best friend whom had Down syndrome. She taught me so many things about how to look at life and I cherish the time I spent with her. Now about my personal life.. I graduated in December 2023 from UNC-Wilmington with a bachelors degree in Criminology. I have always had a passion for helping children and would love to Read more do that as a career. Also, I have a 5 year old nephew who is my best buddy. He's the poster child that makes you want another one. Through him, I've learned the biggest life lesson (according to him). The lesson is: there is NOT a limit to the amount of fist bumps you are supposed to give someone. Lastly, I have lived in Virginia Beach since I was born, however, decided to spread my wings when it was time for college. I went to East Carolina University for my first year and transferred to UNC Wilmington to finish out my last year and a half. I am finally graduated and ready to start a new journey as a post-grad. I'd love to find a family to work for whom would like to share the experience with me!
