Hi! My name is Ava, and I will be a junior at the University of Michigan studying elementary education. I love being a sitter because I enjoy building relationships with kids, helping them learn and grow, and creating a fun and safe environment where they feel comfortable and supported. I have experience working with children ages 4–12 through an after-school care program at an elementary school. In this role, I helped supervise activities, assist with homework, encourage positive behavior, and keep children engaged after school. I am CPR and First Aid certified, dependable, patient, and organized. My background in education has also helped me develop strong communication skills and age-appropriate ways to interact with children while making sure they feel cared for and included.
