I’m currently working full time as a licensed professional counselor in training! I have a masters degree in clinical mental health counseling and a concentration in children/adolescents. My bachelors degree is in psychology. Prior to full time working, I have held various roles working as a summer nanny and as assistants at an afterschool program. I am also currently working towards my registered play therapist license. I am skilled in being able to attune to children through the use of specific play skills including empathic listening, esteem building, and engaging in child led imaginary play. If your child wants me to put on a super hero cape and run around, that’s no problem for me! In my full time job I work with ages 3+ and I am skilled in bringing a calm, patient, and compassionate approach to everything I do. Safety, emotional well being/regulation, and clear communication are my top priorities. I am skilled at creating structured yet fun environments, helping with limit setting, and responding empathically and thoughtfully in challenging moments. Whether you’re looking for occasional babysitting or someone to watch your kids on date nights, you can trust that your child will be cared for with professionalism, empathy, and genuine attention. I am available some week nights and weekends. I hope to create good relationships with both kids and parents as well as strive to be someone that families can rely on when they need it!
