I am a college Junior studying Elementary Education with 6+ years of childcare experience. At 13 I started babysitting children outside of my family, and was hired on as an after school program employee for the Decatur School District at 15. Following my employment for the school district, I worked as a life guard and swim instructor where I taught necessary water safety skills, and recieved CPR, first aid, and BLS certifications four times over and even assisted in others training others. I have classroom experience from grades PreK-6th, from a variety of internships through my academic programs. As an education student, I have knowledge in developmentally appropriate practices, tutoring, and behavior management. I have also worked as a house cleaner independently alongside my mother, and am happy to help out with any household chores. I am looking forward to meeting with you!
