Hello, My name is Katresha (kuh-tree-sha). I’m a senior attending the University of Louisville majoring in Secondary English Education with a minor in Creative Writing. At school I’m also working to complete an ESL Endorsement to teach English to Necomers—migrants seeking to live in the US. In four years of university, I’ve looked after children ranging from 4-13 at the YMCA of Greater Louisville; children 14-18 tutoring and observing JCPS classrooms. Lastly, I’m also a certified emergency substitute teacher for JCPS. I’m great at teaching children to read, write, build kid-friendly objects, and appreciate the outdoors.
