I love being a sitter because I love connecting with kids, whether that means playing games, reading stories, helping with homework, or simply being a positive and supportive presence in their lives. I especially enjoy arts and crafts and planning fun, hands-on activities that keep children engaged and spending less time in front of screens. I have mainly worked with one family for the past four years, caring for three children under the age of 10, including a newborn. While the older children were at school, I spent time caring for the baby. When the children came home, I prepared meals and snacks, helped with homework, kept them engaged with fun and age-appropriate activities, assisted with bedtime routines, and helped maintain a positive, organized routine. I have a valid driver’s license, a safe and reliable vehicle, and auto insurance, making transportation to and from activities easy if needed. I enjoy cooking and am happy to prepare simple, nutritious meals and snacks for children. I understand the importance of following parents’ routines and instructions, communicating clearly, and creating a safe, supportive, and fun environment where children can thrive. I’m also very comfortable caring for pets of all kinds. Whether your family has dogs, cats, or other pets, I’m happy to provide feeding, walks, playtime, and plenty of attention while you’re away.
