Samantha is unreliable. Came to our home for an interview. Agreed to committing to a two week trial period before an official start date. We discussed responsibilities and compensation. General responsibilies of a nanny, light laundry for child only, picking up before she leaves, care for our child. She said she was interested and everything sounded great. 4 days later after adjusting my work schedule to be off, stopping the process of our nanny search, creating a schedule for her, etc... she sent a text the evening before her start date saying she wasn't coming and did NOT give an explanation. We are a very understanding and nice family. We welcomed her honesty and she neglected to tell us she didn't plan on coming until the last minute.
