With over 30 years of experience with children in a classroom (Special Educator) and being a private nanny after retirement, I can confidently say that I can handle just about any situation imaginable with children. After retirement, I still wanted to work with children, but was tired of being forced to push curriculum into them when their brains weren’t ready. As a nanny, obviously there is a much lower teacher:child ratio which helps the child be able to have that direct support to achieve a specific objective /goal.
