Meet Amya

I enjoy being a sitter because caregiving has always come naturally to me. I genuinely enjoy creating environments where children feel safe, supported, comfortable, and encouraged to be themselves. I love building positive relationships with both children and parents while helping with routines, learning, creativity, and everyday care. I have over 5 years of childcare experience through both professional childcare work and hands-on family caregiving. I also worked for approximately two years in the children’s center at Club Fitness, where I supervised children in a structured environment and supported positive, safe, and engaging experiences for both kids and parents. My background has helped me develop strong communication skills, patience, adaptability, attentiveness, and the ability to care for children with compassion and responsibility. I value being someone families can trust and depend on, and I always aim to bring a calm, supportive, and positive energy into the home.
