I am currently in a doctoral program for Occupational Therapy with a focus in pediatrics. I completed my first clinical rotation in a pediatric outpatient clinic. I have a background in pediatric behavioral therapy and worked at Trumpet Behavioral Health as a behavioral therapist (RBT) for nearly 2 years before starting my doctoral program. I was a part of the IRB team for a pediatric occupational therapy research study about evidence based practice for children with ADHD with my pediatrics professor during my time in didactic learning. I am certified in CPR, AED, BLS, and First Aid through the American Heart Association. I aspire to become a pediatric occupational therapist and my education is preparing me for this.
