I have a vast knowledge in rearing children from newborn to 8 years of age. I worked as a nanny in Zurich-Switzerlandfor 2 years and in New York for 8 years. I consider myself very organized, educated, patient, genuinely lovely with kids, responsible, punctual and very good following directions. I’m a happy and positive person and enjoy very much being around kids and playing with them. My previous experience with children includes the following but is not limited to: Newborn/baby - Preparing meals and feed the baby, change diapers, bathe, put the baby to sleep. - Maintaining the baby's cleanliness. - Keep the room, clothes, toys organized and clean. - Read, sing, play with them and take them for a walk. - Organizing play dates. - Take the baby to the park, activities or classes. - Talking to them in Spanish (if the family is ok with that) Toddler/Child - Read more Picking the children up from school. - Daily trips to the park, museum, zoo and other activities. - Preparing meals. - Organizing play dates. - Playing with them, read books. - Organizing toys and clothing. - Teaching them Spanish. - Helping with homework. - Maintaining the child's cleanliness. - Teaching them manners and how to interact with other children. I think that keeping the little ones busy doing arts, crafts, reading or any other activity that helps with development is better than have them using electronics or watching tv all the time. I love outdoor activities and play some sports (swimming, soccer, volleyball). I have a CPR certificate and excellent recommendation letters from my past employers which are available upon request. I do not smoke. I speak Spanish fluently. I live in Midtown West Manhattan so it's easy for me to mobilize around the city. I would like to work minimum 30 hours and long term position.
