I’m looking for a family that is interested in hiring a full time, long term nanny to grow with their family. Leukemia, learning disabilities, preemie complications and strabismus are some conditions I’ve encountered in children I‘ve cared for in the 15 years that I’ve been a baby sitter and full time nanny. My responsibilities have included staying on top of medicine regimens, feeding schedules ( including feeding by tube), sleep schedules as well as sleep and potty training, calming super fussy babies, playtime, music and singing, reading with and to them, taking them to play at the park or to the library, organizing play dates and much, much more. I have developed an innate ability to discern and meet the needs of young children, as well as helping get and keep them on developmentally appropriate daily schedules. I have figured out how to calm babies by applying knowledge acquired through Read more reading, through listening to and cooperating with moms and dads and through vast personal experience. Mine is a broad understanding of childcare/ nannying that includes caring for and helping the family thrive by being involved in various aspects of running a household, something working parents highly appreciate. I will gladly pick up, clean up and put up and will make sure the kids look sharp by taking good care of their clothes. In me, you have a strong, caring, mature, loving childcare professional, who will always have the interests of your family at heart. I am a mom of two awesome college going daughters. When I’m not working, I use my talents, gifts and time to serve at my church and to give back to my community. I’ll end with the words of my long term employer, Ms S: “Margaret is reliable and dedicated, and was a gift to our family during the four full years she spent in her role.  She taught me a great deal about how to care for wee ones, in addition to what she taught my children while I was at work during their crucial first years.  Since I have known her, she has also been continually active in her church congregation, dedicating her time year over year to the worship team in support of Sunday services.  She is always up for pouring her gifts back to the community whenever she is asked. “ I’m excited to hear from you...

It was our great pleasure to work with Miss Margaret. She is experienced, kind, patient and a great teacher overall. She was always on time and maintained a good schedule for our kids. She became a part of our family in very short period of time and kids loved her.

Margaret is an excellent nanny. She took care of our baby girl for 6 months as a transition time before she went to day care. Margaret made sure that our daughter received both loving care and the stimulus she needed to develop including reading books, singing and playing. Margaret is very good at communicating changes with your baby (e.g. needing more or less sleep, food, likes/dislikes, etc.) as well as making changes as you request (e.g. our baby needed more tummy time so Margaret focused on that). I would highly recommend Margaret as a nanny for your child.
