As a mother of three children (including twins), I bring an understanding of child development, patience, and a love for learning into every caregiving role. I homeschooled my children through 8th grade and two are preparing to graduate high school next year with plans for college. One ranks in the top ten of his class and is pursuing engineering, while my daughter is on a pre-med track. My youngest son is a sophomore at a charter school that specializes in robotics. All three are Eagle Scouts, active in student council, varsity sports, and have dedicated hundreds of volunteer hours to our local food pantry and community events. I have hands-on experience as a nanny for a two-year-old and a six-year-old, balancing both early childhood care and school-age support. My responsibilities included providing daily care, engaging the toddler in age-appropriate activities, and safely transporting the six-year-old to and from school and Read more after-care. My philosophy blends child-led learning with engaging, age-appropriate educational activities. I love creating fun learning games, encouraging curiosity, and spending plenty of time outdoors exploring, playing, and discovering the world safely together. I’ve worked with older children for many years through Scouting helping children build confidence, leadership, and essential life skills. I have a natural ability to connect with children and create a warm, safe, and structured environment where they feel supported. Caring for children is something I truly love, and I’m excited to bring my experience, compassion, and nurturing approach to a family who values a positive, encouraging environment.
