Relevant experience where I also cared for children were… Assistant Teacher – Ecuador 1 year experience supporting children’s learning. I volunteered to be a recess monitor. Activities I enjoy doing with children… I enjoy engaging children in age appropriate and creative activities such as arts and crafts, reading books, outdoor play, and educational games. I like helping with homework, encouraging learning through play, and supporting daily routines in a fun and positive way. I also enjoy planning activities that promote creativity, communication, and emotional development, while always prioritizing safety and well-being. My favorite nanny moment… I was a nanny for the Brenier family, taking care of two sweet children. One very cold day, we decided to create a small indoor “camping” experience using blankets and pillows around the house. We sang songs, told stories, and laughed together. We even played with Benli, the family’s small pet, pretending he was a Read more jungle tiger. It was such a fun and memorable day, full of imagination, warmth, and connection. Moments like this remind me how much I love creating joyful, safe, and meaningful experiences for children. The most important part about being a nanny… The most important part about being a nanny is creating a safe, loving, and trustworthy environment where children feel comfortable and cared for. Building a strong bond with both the children and their families, understanding each child’s needs, and supporting their emotional and daily development is essential. Being patient, responsible, and attentive allows children to feel secure and happy, which is the foundation of great childcare.
