For the past one and half years, after retiring from commercial printing, I have been a licensed substitute teacher in the Lake Oswego School District. Now I’m seeking ways to support families with children in their home environment. I’ve resided in Lake Oswego many years. While raising my now-grown son, I was active in cub scouts, Boy Scouts and volunteering for the Lake Oswego Swim Club. I am patient, creative, and friendly with children and enjoy outdoor time, board games, reading or overseeing homework. While the number one responsibility is safety and comfort, I can also be a resource for introducing friendship skills, study habits or ways children can help the household function. My background includes bachelor degrees in German literature and Business Administration and a master’s degree in Business. I have traveled extensively and enjoy hiking, kayaking and camping. I look forward to the possibility of being of service.
