I grew up being a caretaker, of children, dogs, and family members. I was a full time caretaker for my nana 11 years ago who suffered from dementia, I had to bathe, dress, and feed her, as well as take her to and from countless appointments. Taking care of my Nana definitely shaped my psyche and made me much more compassionate for those in need. During my studies in college, I begun nannying, it started out for one of my professors, whom was actually my American Sign Language professor, his children were deaf and that was such an amazing learning experience. Upon graduating with my 3 minors I made sure to minor in American Sign Language, while completing my degree in Communication Studies. After graduation I moved to Atlanta and taught Pre K as a lead teacher and part timed as a nanny for a family of 7, while intermittently Read more working as a night nurse for multiple families.
