Hi, my name is Ashley. I have over four years of experience working with children, including 3.5 years in daycare centers and almost a year of nannying. I am currently enrolled at Framingham State University studying Child and Family Studies, which allows me to combine hands-on experience with what I am learning academically. I am CPR and First Aid certified. Working in daycare has given me strong experience in structured group care, following daily routines, supporting developmental milestones, and maintaining a safe and engaging environment for multiple children at once. It taught me how to be organized, patient, and attentive while meeting the needs of children at different stages of development. Nannying has allowed me to build closer, one-on-one relationships with children and families. Through nannying, I have learned how to tailor care to each child’s individual needs, routines, and personality, as well as support families in their day-to-day lives. My family is from the Dominican Republic, and my passion for caring for children comes from growing up in a family where caregiving was always valued. My mom shares this passion and has taught me many important skills that helped shape my love for working with children. I strive to create a safe, nurturing, and positive environment where children feel supported, encouraged, and cared for.
