Hello, My name is Maria and I began my child care journey at the age of 12 years old. I was the busiest babysitter in Bellevue in the late 70's! I was their first choice when it came to their (date night, errand running or hang out at their house keeping their kids busy while mommy got stuff done around the house) go to sitter! My mother ran an in-home childcare business and I learned first hand how to show love, care and compassion to all the angels my mother cared for! My sister soon gave birth to the first of two children (first grandchildren and nephew and niece) to our first generation Italian family, so our family was their village!! I was their part-time nanny while my sister worked two jobs. In 1998, I had my one and only child, a daughter I raised with a part-time husband (he Read more was an over-the-road, long haul truck driver) along with raising my, step-son from the age of 5, it was a wonderful experience while it lasted !! When my daughter was 7 years old, my other stepson (who was raised by his mother) and his girlfriend had a baby girl that they could not take care of, so I took on a newborn and raised her as my own until the age of 5, when they decided they wanted her back. When my daughter was 19 years old she gave birth to a baby girl. My daughter was young and in love with her boyfriend, so again, I raised my beautiful granddaughter until the age of 4 when my daughter decided she didn't need the boyfriend but that her baby girl needed her, thank God she woke up! I taught all my babies to swim, and ride bikes, to read and count, we cook, we craft together, we go to the park together. When I take my babies to the craft together, we go to the park together. When I take my babies to the park, Im not one of those grandparents who sit's on the bench on their phone with the other moms/ grandmothers. I'm on the swings, climbing stairs and sliding down the slides, I'm usually the seeker in hide-n-seek, and I don't mind a bit pretending to lose every time!! My age is 63 years old but you won’t know it! I’m very active and I’m a 25 year old in a 63 year olds body! So, you get youth and maturity in one package!! I'm not in a romantic relationship, so my work is my life! I have my own vehicle for transportation I would also consider a live-in-nanny
