Hi! My name is Monica, and I’m currently an undergraduate student at the University of St. Thomas majoring in Psychology and Biology and I’m on the pre-med track. From a young age, I’ve had a passion for caring for children. I began by helping my mom, who worked as a nanny, and by assisting in raising my two younger sisters. Over the years, I’ve gained experience working with children of all age, from newborns to teenagers. I have worked in babysitting, summer programs, and after-school care at Poe and Baker Elementary with the Little Heroes program. I’ve looked after different families, like taking care of a families with only one child to bigger families of six kids, and I truly enjoy forming connections with each child I meet. I am CPR certified, have my own transportation, and am comfortable with tasks such as diaper changes, meal preparation, and homework help.
