I am a UCSD graduate with a major in biological anthropology and minor neuroscience. I am bilingual in English and Spanish (with some French), CPR and first aid certified, and have been a swim instructor for the city of El Cerrito (SF East Bay) for three years, working with toddlers and grade school children, giving both individual and group lessons. I also worked as a guide for UC San Diego Outback program, leading excursions and outings for current and former UCSD students. I love to bake, enjoy art (I went to a visual arts high school), exercising, and surfing. In 2020, I spent my junior year of college studying at the university in Santiago, Chile (an interesting experience, despite the pandemic!). I spent 8 months in Costa Rica studying capuchins and recently returned from the DRC where I studied bonobos for 9 months. I am planning to apply for a Read more PhD program to hopefully start graduate school in 2025. I'd like to add that my 1 star rating is from a couple I took to court for not paying me after I gave two weeks notice.
