Deshanta helped with drop off for my 6 year old son for 2 week (this was a long term job). Pro -she arrived 15 minutes early and made sure my son was dropped off on time. working no more than 2-3 hours a day suited her. However unexpected school delays and closures occurred during that time. Due to her schedule restrictions and interpersonal dynamics between her and my 6 year old son, I ended up making last minute alternative childcare arrangements if there was the slightest possibility of school closure. Overall she would be great for older children who are very self sufficient/require minimum oversight and for parents who require help with drop offs only. Working parents make sure you have backup childcare in the event of school closure/delays or sick days.

I can't recommend Ms. D highly enough. She is one of the most patient, kind and caring caregivers we've worked with. She is incredibly reliable, showing up early every single day she was with our family. She kept in constant communication with us and our children immediately loved her. The only downside was that she wasn't with our family long enough since she is moving. Our children loved her, so did we, and we miss her terribly.

Agreed to an interview didn’t show, then stated that the pay was too low. We offered mid way between her high and low pay rate. So the honesty I wasn’t there from the start.

Lovely lady. Really interested in engaging with my child. Unfortunately our situation has changed and we're delaying our search. But it was a pleasure meeting her during the interview.
