Hi! My name is Amanda, and I recently graduated with my bachelor’s degree in Human Development and Family Studies. I’ve always loved working with children and have had experience with kids in a variety of settings. I currently work as a 1:1 paraprofessional at an elementary school, where I support a fourth-grade student throughout the school day. I’ve also volunteered at The Children’s Center, a therapeutic preschool, where I worked alongside teachers and therapists and helped children with social-emotional skills, routines, and play. Before college, I worked in a summer daycare/camp program with children ages 5–8. I’m someone who is patient, caring, responsible, and genuinely enjoys being around kids. I love doing activities with them, whether that’s playing outside, doing crafts, reading, or just letting them have fun and be kids.
