Hi! I'm Emily. I am a 30 year old SAHW looking for some part-time work. I love children and believe in providing a safe, caring, nurturing environment where a child is engaged and enriched. I have many years of experience as a private babysitter as well as working in a daycare setting, primarily with children aged 6 weeks to 3 years. I'm trained in all aspects of infant and toddler care including: feeding and nutrition, changing, toiletting and toilet training, first-aid and CPR, napping. I enjoy leading activities including singing and dancing, arts and crafts, pretend/imaginary play, storytime, outdoor play. I'm comfortable caring for up to 3 children and can provide both in-home and on-location care. I'm accepting of all family structures and cultural backgrounds and comfortable around all animals. I'm comfortable providing for all children, including those with special needs and those with behavioral struggles. I know some basic Read more ASL and am working on expanding my knowledge. In addition to childcare, I'm able to offer light housekeeping, meal prep, pet care, homework help. I'd love to work with families on a long-term basis but am also available per-diem for work, date night, last minute plans, or just because you need a night off.
