Hi! I'm Kaitlyn – a 20-year-old pre-med student studying neuroscience and linguistics at Virginia Tech. I'm home for the summer and excited to support local families with dependable, caring babysitting! I’ve worked with kids for years—through three summers at the YMCA, Sunday school, and my church’s childcare program since middle school. I also founded a Best Buddies chapter in high school, a program that builds friendships between students with and without disabilities. Through that experience, I learned American Sign Language (ASL) and love using it to connect with kids—especially those who are nonverbal or eager to learn something new. I’m certified in Basic Life Support (BLS), which includes CPR and first aid, so your child’s safety is always a top priority. I love being a sitter because I enjoy creating a fun, safe, and nurturing space where kids can grow, play, and feel supported. Whether it’s doing crafts, reading stories, Read more or helping with homework, I bring patience, positivity, and genuine care to every family I work with. I’d love to help your family this summer!
