Hi, my name is Tina Diaz and I'm 28 years old. I'm a professional dancer and choreographer currently living in New York. I've been an active dance teacher for kids ranging from pre-school age through high school age for the past 7 years. I know how to find a balance between setting firm boundaries with children in a peaceful manner while finding time to be loving, silly, and playful. During my formative teaching years, I did a lot of volunteer work with kids through an organization called Juntos. Juntos gives underprivileged children all around the world the opportunity to take dance classes. The experiences I had with Juntos changed my life. It is an honor to be a part of children’s growth and learning processes. I also have a lot of experience working as a nanny/babysitter. I’m familiar with chaperoning kids to and from school or after school activities, completing Read more cleaning tasks for kids such as laundry and dishes, assisting kids with homework, and preparing meals for kids. I’ve grown to truly enjoy cooking over the past few years. Since I am an athlete, I love to eat healthy so preparing balanced meals for your kids would not be a problem. I love nature and spent my childhood in New York weather so I'm used to spending time outdoors despite cold temperatures. Spending time outside with your children (and your pets) would be a pleasure. I consider myself to be very patient, caring, energetic, outgoing, and creative. I enjoy dancing, singing, playing games, telling jokes, reading stories, and making crafts. Additionally, I have been background checked, First-Aid and CPR certified, and I’m a non-smoker. Although I don’t have a car, I’m a licensed driver with a clean driving record.
