I am a retired pharmacist who LOVES babies. I like to have a purpose in my life and being a caregiver is at the core of who I am. When I retired, I had the opportunity to help a family with their newborn. It was such a joy caring for this angel baby and it made me realize that this was something I wanted to do in retirement. I cared for this infant for 10 months while living in South Carolina. I then moved back home to Arizona and cared for another infant from the ages of 6 months to 18 months. I believe that you can’t spoil babies – they are meant to be held and have their needs met promptly. I love to read and sing to them, have lots of tummy time, go on walks, and encourage new skills. I feel that children do best on a Read more schedule. I will always follow the parent’s lead as to how they want things done with their child. My goal is to provide a nurturing and safe environment for your child. I am a reliable, organized person happy to do what I can to help your family. I am CPR certified and fully vaccinated. I do not smoke, have reliable transportation, and flexible availability. I volunteer as a baby cuddler in the neonatal ICU at Banner UMC which is an awesome experience. I have two adult daughters, one who is a pediatric ICU nurse and the other is a pediatrician. Children are our passion! I also have an Australian Shepherd, my best girl, so am comfortable with pets. I would love to help with your childcare and promise to do the best job possible for your child and your family!
