Hello! My name is Reina. I'm 21 years old and I've grown up in Riverside my whole life. I'm currently focused on saving up to go back to Riverside City College to get my Associate Degree in English. My career goals are to, hopefully, one day teach French or English at the high school level. Since my freshman year of high school, I've studied French and have completely fallen in love with the language. I've worked as a Youth Development Specialist at Boys and Girls Club of Greater Redlands, Riverside, and have also worked as a student teacher under the company Sports for Learning; I was placed at an elementary school in Moreno Valley and worked with kids of all ages. Through here I was able to obtain my CPR certifications, sexual assault/harassment training, mandated reporter training, domestic violence/emotional support training, etc. I love kids and even more so I Read more love to watch their personalities develop as they learn about the little things in life and it's why I've always been so drawn to them. I currently still occasionally tutor kids through parent recommendations and they are the best parts of my day. My experience with babies is definitely enough for me to be confident in applying for nannying positions. I grew up with a huge family and I’m the oldest in my generation of cousins so I took care of many at a very young age and growing up. I currently work as an Administrative Assistant for a small business but I would love to steer back towards working and doing what I enjoy most which is teaching and/or helping children.
