Hi, my name is Zainab Goga! I’m 22 and currently studying Public Health and Child Development at Florida State University. I have 8 years of childcare experience working with children from infancy through the teen years, including neurodiverse children and those with special needs. I’m fully knowledgeable in infant care, including diaper changes, bottle preparation, feeding, soothing, naps, and following routines. I also have experience with potty training, toddler transitions, and supporting developmental milestones in a patient, consistent way. For school-aged children, I help with after-school routines, activities, and homework. With teenagers, I focus on respectful supervision and guidance, helping with organization, time management, study skills, accountability, and maintaining clear boundaries while being someone they feel comfortable communicating with. I volunteered for 3 years at a Science Center, where I helped manage interactive exhibits and led hands-on science demonstrations for children of many ages. I’m also an experienced tutor, approved in biology, elementary science, elementary math, algebra 1 and 2, geometry, statistics, English, grammar and handwriting, spelling, vocabulary, writing, study skills, world history, geography, government and politics, art history, Japanese, and Microsoft Excel. I’ve tutored students from early childhood through adulthood and adjust my approach to each learner. Beyond childcare, I offer pet care, with experience caring for dogs, cats, birds, fish, shrimp, and crabs, as well as companion care, providing a warm and patient presence. I also provide housekeeping and am very organized and detail-oriented. I’m comfortable with cleaning, laundry, dishes, mopping, organizing, labeling, and improving home flow, and I’m strong and comfortable moving furniture. Personally, I love crocheting, painting, singing, musical theater, and learning about STEM and health sciences. I’m reliable, communicative, and take pride in doing things thoroughly and thoughtfully. I hold Microsoft Office Specialist certifications, IC3 Living Online, Stop the Bleed, and I’m currently working toward First Aid and CPR certification. My goal is always to provide care that families can truly rely on and feel confident about.
