Hi there! I’m Melissa. Thanks for considering me for babysitting. I’d love to share more about myself and my qualifications. I live in the Littleton area. I have a great full time job in early childhood education but I enjoy earning extra income to support my concert and road trip habits! I'm typically available evenings and weekends. I've always been passionate about fostering children's growth and development. I've spent the last 20+ years creating safe, nurturing, and educational environments for children. My friendly, creative, and patient personality allows me to connect with children easily. I believe in open and honest communication with parents, ensuring they're always informed. As an experienced Early Childhood Education professional, I'm comfortable caring for multiple children and am well-versed in positive guidance and social-emotional development. I’m 46, married and I’ve been a mom to 3 boys (now 14, 18 & 20), a nanny, a preschool teacher, Read more and a preschool director. I’m also comfortable with dogs and cats, I have 3 of my own dogs at home, and I’m a non-smoker. I hold a bachelor's degree in business management as well as early childhood education director certification, a level 6 early childhood credential, trainer credential and I’m CPR and First Aid certified.
