Hello Families, My name is Kimber. I currently work with children (K-5) in an Afterschool program for disadvantaged youth. I have worked with students in this capacity for over 8 years and worked with students ages 5 to 18. I absolutely love it! I have certifications in CPR, first aid, and blood borne pathogens. I create fun activities with “hidden learning”. I also like to explore the outside with my students. From playing at the park to exploring the woods I can find a learning experience anywhere. I am familiar with most of the science centers, zoos, and museums in Southeast Michigan and would love to take your children on exciting adventures. I do not recommend Kimber at all. After 3 weeks of working together with no issues, she very suddenly texts me on a Sunday evening last-minute to tell me she will no longer be watching my son before a full work week. As you can imagine, this put me in a great deal of difficulty since I now have to cancel and reschedule a week worth of clients on a Sunday evening. If you want someone with poor work ethic who only wants to do the bare minimum, she would make a great fit for your family.
