Hi families! I'm a 31-year-old, full-time K–8 art teacher living in Phillipsburg, NJ, and I'm looking for a consistent, part-time after-school nanny or family assistant position in the surrounding area! I have approximately 15 years of experience working with children in various settings, including as a camp counselor and educator. I've been teaching professionally since 2020 and hold a Master's degree in Teaching, along with certifications in Elementary Education (K–6), Art Education (K–12), and Special Education (K–12). Throughout my experience, I've worked with children of different ages, personalities, learning styles, and abilities. I'm patient, dependable, organized, creative, and nurturing. I genuinely enjoy building meaningful relationships with children and helping them learn, grow, and feel supported. As both a teacher and former camp counselor, I understand the importance of creating a safe, positive, structured, and engaging environment while also making sure children have fun! My availability generally begins around 3:30–3:45 PM, depending on location. In addition to childcare, I'd be happy to assist with school pickups, transportation to sports or extracurricular activities, homework supervision, preparing dinner, and helping keep busy afternoon routines running smoothly. I'm especially interested in a position that combines childcare with helping parents manage their family's busy schedules.
