I am a third year medical student and my goal is to become a pediatrician. When I was doing my master's in biomedical sciences at MUCOM, I was also working as a patient sitter. Alongside taking care of older adults, I also took care of toddlers who were sick. I would keep them entertained, feed them, and make sure they were taken care of. Working with kids is something I enjoy and kids seem to bond with me fairly quick. I have been a babysitter for my nieces and nephews. I have taken care of them for years. I have bathed, fed, and changed diapers. I made sure they played with actual games and we did activities together, instead of watching TV. I don't believe in having kids watching TV all day to keep themselves entertained. I like to play games, going to the park, and doing fun educational activities.
