Meet Ayla Mae

I am still sort of new with professional babysitting, but I’ve been babysitting my cousins, nieces, and nephews from around age 9, and got simple babysitting gigs in later middle school and I’ve been doing it since. I was the youngest of 3 girls and 2 boys growing up, and one of my brothers has down syndrome. That taught me so much patience over the years and taught me how to be optimistic. My mom also worked in the Labor and Delivery department which taught me how to take care of newborns very well at a young age, as she took me to work due to not having a babysitter. That’s just one of the many reasons I love babysitting. I know how stressful it can be to need to find someone you can trust and can keep coming back to. As I grew up, my mom studied to get Read more her RN, and now she is an RN and the public health director of a county. So you can imagine I know how to handle a majority of medical emergencies if it comes down to it, and I am CPR certified. I don’t have a car, however I always have reliable rides to be able to get to your location. I will not be able to drive kids to school however, I’m not at all comfortable putting your kids into a car that isn’t mine and especially if it’s not me driving. I don’t mind walking if it’s a shorter distance though! People generally find me easy to talk to, so if you have any questions, feedback, rules, tips, or anything, I’m always open to it and won’t ignore constructive criticism! This is your kids we’re talking about, and we both just want the best for them! Whether I’m babysitting the same kids or different ones, I’m very grateful for this opportunity and very excited to get to know you and your kids! NOT increasing “per child” charge. I’m not charging you more for the more kids I take care of. I care more about your kids than an extra cent.
