Hi! My name is Beth, and I am a certified special education teacher. I graduated from Grand Canyon University with a degree in Elementary and Special Education. I have always loved working with children and seeing the world through eyes! This passion is what led me to pursue teaching as a career. I have over 10 years of babysitting experience and 4 years of nannying experience. I’ve worked with children ranging from 2 months to 12 years old, though I especially love the lower elementary ages. Most recently, I nannied for a 4-year-old and a now 15-month-old (I began when they were 2 years old and just 2 weeks old!). I also previously cared for a family with a 2-month-old, 2-year-old, and 4-year-old for about a year and a half. As both a teacher and nanny, I prioritize safety, consistency, and creating engaging, developmentally appropriate experiences. I love planning hands-on Read more activities like arts and crafts, sensory play, outdoor adventures, park days, and library visits. I intentionally incorporate activities that support fine motor skills, early literacy, social-emotional development, and imaginative play. I truly enjoy being actively involved with children rather than simply supervising. In my free time, I love to cook, bake, hike, go on walks, and do creative projects. I naturally bring that creativity and energy into my time with kids! I have my own car, a valid driver’s license, a clean driving record, and I maintain CPR and First Aid certification. I would love the opportunity to support your family and create a fun, safe, nurturing environment for your little ones!
