Hello everybody! My names Mackenzie and I grew up caring for my four siblings. I loved being able to see them progress and learn. Between babysitting family members and my moms coworkers children i knew I was in the right place. In my last few years of highschool I dedicated myself to teaching as my career path. I am very thankful that my highschool offered a child development course and a cadet teaching program which I attended. I assisted in a second grade classroom for about 5 months and since graduating I have been working as a daycare teacher in Damascus. I started in our infant room (ages 0-2) and I have since worked with all ages. Learning each child’s quirks and seeing them flourish is so exciting. I have owned dogs before as well I actually helped my border collie deliver her litter of puppies in march of 2022 and that’s how I have my Border Collie-German Shepard named Arlo. In addition to cats and dogs I adore reptiles. I love seeing all of their patterns and personalities. I am not shy at all when it comes to pets (unless it is a spider or centipede in which case I am all cool with looking and not touching). I would love to be of use to you and your family!!
