Hello there! I’m Nicole, and I’m in my late 20s. I really enjoy working with kids and creating a fun, supportive environment where they can learn, play, and just be themselves. I’ve spent time with kids ages 5 to 12, helping out with schoolwork like math, reading, writing, social studies, and art but also making sure there’s time for outdoor breaks, crafts, creative play, and even a little Spanish. I first started working with kids because I wanted to learn more about how to be a good mom one day. This is a new experience for me, but it’s helped me grow in so many ways. I’ve become more empathetic and patient, not just with children, but with parents too. I’ve learned to better understand how kids think and feel. Childcare can be challenging, but it’s also incredibly rewarding. I love chatting with kids, hearing their funny questions, and seeing Read more their imagination in action (where else do you get asked what your favorite ice cream flavor is and end up in a serious debate about which one’s truly the best?). I’m patient, caring, and try to adjust to each kid’s personality and needs. I like to mix learning with creativity and fun, so kids feel comfortable and encouraged. Outside of childcare, some of my favorite things are video games, anime, Star Wars, LEGO, and arts and crafts and I’ve found those interests are a great way to bond with kids! I also love all kinds of animals and have two cats of my own, so I’m totally comfortable with any pets you may have at home. I’m excited to meet your family and spend time getting to know your little one(s)!
