I have been babysitting since I was 13. I started by watching and caring for my baby cousin, then moved on to my neighbors. I have been a nanny for 6 families in the past 10 years and I am looking for my new family to help. At 13 I began taking babysitting classes that taught me everything from feeding and bathing to first aid and CPR. I took those classes many times over the years so I am very knowledgeable. In those classes I received my CPR and other certifications. I was also a swim teacher, I took life guarding classes (I didn't apply to be a life guard, just took them for fun because a neighbor taught them). I am "old school" as far as keeping kids entertained and playing; I'm not a big fan of kids playing video games or sitting in front of the tv all Read more day, I prefer to have them play outside or do arts and crafts type things. In all my years of caring for kids I've never had a negative ending, either the families no longer needed my help or I could no longer balance my schedule with theirs. I can't wait to start caring for your kid(s)!
