Hello, My name is Samantha but most people call me Sam :) I graduated high school in 1998 and soon after found a job at a daycare starting out in the infant room. I worked there for many years getting the chance to experience all the different age groups. During my time there my husband and I had two children. When I was due with my third child I decided to stay home for awhile and it was during this time that I opened up an in-home daycare that I ran for almost 10 years. When my fourth child was about 2, I decided that I was ready to go back in the work field and I began working at a preschool teaching two year olds. I used to live in Myrtle Beach, however in 2019 my children and I moved to North Carolina where we currently reside. I love Read more children of all ages as I have 4 of my own with a ton of experience. I have 4 amazing daughters. Two of them have already graduated and are out living their best lives. I still have two at home, one is in high school. I homeschool my youngest who is elementary age, she goes to a homeschool co-op some days and other days she stays home or we venture off on a field trip. I also have several nieces and nephews. I have an associates degree in Human Services and a business certificate. We have one pet who is a very spoiled cat. I adore babies and love rocking them to sleep. I am open to helping with the children’s light laundry or dishes while the little ones are napping if needed. I have had first aid and cpr training in the past as it was required with my childcare jobs. Unfortunately I have had to perform the Heimlich maneuver on a child several years ago when they were choking on a piece of ice. I love coloring, reading, and doing puzzles with little ones. I’m available most weekends for help or a date night and during the week typically 9:00-2:30.
